After initially facing criticism, Zegjine Çaushi has now become the most active and visible media figure among the Socialist Party’s open-list candidates for the Fier district. Gazment Bardhi remains her target, as she raises the political bar high despite being a newcomer. This is evident from the high level of interaction on her public platforms.
In a video posted today on her social media, Çaushi takes a jab at Bardhi by sharing some cheeky details about his nightlife:
“Gazo, good morning, star. How did you wake up today? Because you’re out late at night, drinking gin with Genti, one-on-one, eyes sparkling. People say those wandering around at 2 AM aren’t up to any good.”
The PS candidate continues her ironic tone, attacking the PD leader in Fier for his lack of active campaigning:
“Are you going to campaign, Gazo? Or just keep posting complaints? Are you going to meet people, Gazo, or not at all—because no one’s opening their door for you? Gazi’s great loneliness, not even a lion is this alone. Don’t forget the five, Gazo,” Çaushi concludes her message.
Beyond her consistent social media engagement and on-the-ground meetings, it remains to be seen what electoral impact the 26-year-old newcomer will have. But one thing is clear—she already has a smart strategy to build her public profile and win over votes.
