Flamurtari’s women’s basketball team has recorded its first victory in the finals series for the national championship title.
The team from Vlorë defeated Tirana in a match played at the Flamurtari Sports Palace, with a final score of 68-53.
The game started strongly for Flamurtari, who closed the first quarter ahead 22-16. Their strong performance continued in the second quarter, scoring 17 points to Tirana’s 7, ending the first half with a commanding 39-23 lead. After the break, the game evened out, with both teams scoring 14 points in the third quarter. Flamurtari maintained control to finish the match 68-53.
The second final match between Flamurtari and Tirana will take place on Saturday in the capital.
