The Albanian school “Jeronim de Rada” has opened in Florence, where Albanian children aged 5 to 15 will learn their native language and cultural heritage free of charge. The initiative was launched by the newly established Albanian Cultural Association “Adriatiku” in Tuscany.

On the first day, 25 children participated, along with representatives from Italian institutions, including the Municipality of Florence and the CGIL union. Classes are taught by seven experienced teachers from both Albania and Italy, with the goal of expanding the school throughout the city.

Italian representatives pledged their support for the initiative, while the Albanian community committed to strengthening the school as a linguistic and cultural center in Florence.
